Grand Rapids Wedding Photography

I just got back from a week long photography class at the Great Lakes Institute of Photography.  The class I took was on fine art photography.  I have to say that it was a GREAT class!  We were not only taught creative editing techniques, but we were taught to exercise the right half of our brain, to harness more creativity.  Here are some of the images that I photographed and worked on in my class!

Jesse and Brian had their wedding last weekend at Crystal Mountain Resort.   It was a little cold, but we braved through it for a wonderful day!  The view from the ceremony on the mountain top was beautiful! To see more, watch the slideshow!

Courtney and Andy came to Grand Rapids last week for their engagement session.  I love engagement sessions, because it gives me a chance to get to know the bride and groom a little bit more.  Now, I am excited for Courtney and Andy’s wedding in August!

Jesse and Brian are getting married next weekend at Crystal Mountain Resort.  They got engaged in the winter, but they wanted a beach engagement session for their engagement guestbook that will be at the wedding.  So, we waited until the weather was nice, photographed the session, and created the guestbook just in time for the wedding!  Here are a few of my favorites…
