Grand Rapids Wedding Photography

Hollie and Bill had a beautiful wedding last weekend at Grand Haven Golf Club.  And…. it was an outdoor wedding!  I was watching the weather all week, to see if it was going to rain.  But, the rain held off for the ceremony.  It was a little cold though… ok, it got very cold during the ceremony!  I think the temperature dropped 15 degrees about 20 minutes before the ceremony started!  The cold did not stop Bill and Hollie from having a beautiful ceremony under the trellis!  After the ceremony we had a great time riding around on the trolley from The Grand Rapids Trolley Company, and then back to Grand Haven Golf Club for the reception! Thanks Bill and Hollie!

Lauren and Carl were married in Grand Rapids last weekend.  Despite the rain… we had a wonderful day!  Lauren was so beautiful with her fall colors… I LOVED the tuxes, they were brown!  The color scheme was just perfect for a fall wedding.  Lauren even bought an orange umbrella to match her flowers!  The wedding ceremony took place at Kuyper College in the chapel.  After the ceremony we spent a few minutes in Downtown Grand Rapids  for some fun pictures with the wedding party!  When Lauren and I talked about her wedding day, we didn’t realize that Art Prize was going on at the same time.  Luckily for Lauren and Carl, the crowd was a little small that evening because of the rain!  The reception was held at the B.O.B.  What a fun place for a reception!  Thanks Lauren and Carl for a great day!  If you want to see more, watch their slideshow here!

Stephanie and Jordan had their engagement downtown in Grand Rapids. They wanted an urban look to their engagement portraits.  When we scheduled their engagement session, we forgot about Art Prize going on!  We had to fight a few crowds… but over all it wasn’t too bad!  Their wedding is in November… and I am looking forward to it!

Wow… time gets away from me!  I have had a great fall season.  (Minus the rain we have been having the last few days!  Rain really puts a damper on photographers during busy season!)
