Nate + Katie!
July 15, 2009I had a GREAT time at Nate and Katie’s wedding on Friday. (Or should I say Kate and Natie?) I kept getting tongue tied when I was talking to them, and I found out that I wasn’t the only one who did that!) The wedding was held in Cascade at Cascade Fellowship Christian Reformed Church. We were watching the weather all day, since the reception was going to be in a tent outdoors at Centennial Country Club in Grand Rapids. Nate even called and talked to Matt Kirkwood and Terri DeBoer from Wood TV 8 that morning to help make the decision on whether or not to move the reception indoors! Well, there were only a few sprinkles for a few minutes the entire day, so it worked out beautifully! We started out the morning at the Ada Covered Bridge for Nate and Katie’s first look. Then we finished up portraits at the Church, and I witnessed a beautiful ceremony. Katie surprised Nate by singing “Be Thou my Vision” to him before she walked down the isle. After the ceremony, we headed to the reception, and hopped in some golf carts to take a few more portraits on the golf course. There was no rain for the outdoor tent reception!
