Grand Rapids Wedding Photography

John and Anna were  married in Grand Rapids last Saturday!  The church was a gorgeous old church, Westminster Presbyterian Church of Grand Rapids.

The day threatened rain in the morning… but it turned out to be perfect, and not too hot!  (Those old churches don’t have air conditioning!)  After the ceremony we went to the Gerald R. Ford Museum for a couple images with the wedding party.

The reception was at the EVE on the top floor of the B.O.B.  It was stunning!  I loved the contemporary design of the Eve.  I was taking an image of the flowers in front of this textured wall, when my assistant Jayne snapped this image of me!  Sometimes I don’t realize how ridiculous I look!

Anna and her mother had every detail perfect on the wedding day.  The details were very original!  One of the fun things that they did was to have legos at the recption.  To make the bride and groom kiss, you had to build them a lego structure!

Nate and Cara had an absolutely BEAUTIFUL wedding last weekend!  Cara looked gorgeous on her special day.  They were married at Lee Street CRC in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  I love that church (since it is MY church) because of the beautiful architecture.

After the ceremony, we stopped by Saint Andrews Cathedral in Grand Rapids.  Cara loved the look of the outside of the church, and she wanted some portraits of the wedding party done there!

The reception was at Saint George’s Banquet and Conference Center.  They played a GREAT shoe game…. they were asked questions, and they each had to hold up the shoe that belonged to the person that best fit the answer to the question!

Well, here is my official blog post about Joe and Tara’s wedding! Their wedding took place in Byron Center, just south of Grand Rapids.  It was a beautiful day, which made the photography fun!  Their wedding was beautiful!  We were able to go to Douglas Walker Park before the ceremony for some fun images with the wedding party.  The wedding ceremony was at 1st Byron Christian Reformed Church.

Chad and Josh were the DJ’s from Audio One.  They kept the dance floor hopping all night long!

And I just had to post this image again… because I think it is COOL!  Joe and Tara were hoping for a beautiful sunset at Wallinwood Springs Golf Club, but instead a storm was rolling in….

Well, This is going to be just a little teaser until later this week!  Saturday I had the privilege of photographing Joe and Tara’s wedding.  It was a gorgeous day in Byron Center where the wedding was held!  I am still working on the wedding images, but here are just two teasers…. check back in a couple days for more!
