4. We will have some hands on practicing what you learned in the afternoon at Frederick Miejer Gardens.

Requirements for this class is that you have a DSLR camera, and manual. You will bring both to class. (Every camera is different, and you will be required to look up things in your manual to learn how to change some settings.) You may also want to take a notebook for notes, and a tripod if you have one.

These classes are not professional classes, and will not teach you how to take professional portraits.

Allison and Brian!

December 7, 2011

Allison and Brian had an outdoor engagement session at the perfect time of year for fall colors!  They had their session at Spring Grove Park in Jamestown.  It was a perfect day for a fall session!  I am really looking forward to their April Wedding!

Chris + Kelly!

November 7, 2011

Chris and Kelly picked a fall day for their wedding in Muskegon last month.  It was so WINDY on their wedding day, but we found some fun places for pictures where we blocked the wind!  The wedding was at Prince of Peace in Muskegon.   Then, we headed to downtown muskegon where we found some fun walls with texture, and also had fun at an old train depot!  The reception was at Fricano’s in Muskegon, and it was fabulous!  Kelly and her family went over the top with the details and deserts. The appetizers from Fricaono’s were out of this world.  Then, to top it all off, Chris and Kelly had Dueling Piano’s for the reception.  I wasn’t sure what to expect from them, but they were AMAZING!  I could have stayed and danced all night!  Thanks Kelly and Chris for a GREAT day!

Jon and Katie!

October 18, 2011

Jon and Katie were married in Boston earlier this summer.  Jon’s mother thought it would be a great idea to have a party here in Grand Rapids for all their friends and family that wouldn’t be able to make the trip to Boston.  So, last month they held a reception at The Leonard at Logan House Bed and Breakfast.   The food was incredible, catered by Tommy Fitzgerald.    Thank you to Jon and Katie’s families for letting me share in your event!
